An evocative study of a female nude by Swedish painter, Molly Karin Helena Lindell (1906-1992).

Lindell studied at Edward Berggren’s and Otte Sköld's painting schools in Stockholm and then later at the Academie Julian in Paris. She exhibited at the Galerie Æsthetica and this piece bears an exhibition label on the reverse.

The painting is signed/dated in the lower left and housed within a frame that’s probably its original.
